Oakland Hope is made up of a thrilling thrift store of which the proceeds go to our food pantry. Our food pantry days are on Tuesday (only for seniors), Thursday, and Saturday. Our thrift store ranges from items like purses to suit jackets, lamps to entertainment centers, and so much more! Our volunteer opportunities cover many categories such as:

  • Food pantry help
  • Carpentry help
  • Handyman help
  • Computer/IT help
  • Sorting/organization help
  • CDL or chauffeuring duties
  • Retail and merchandising help

About OAKLAND HOPE

Location:

20 E Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48328, US

Mission Statement

Oakland HOPE began as an idea in the vision of One Heart Network (10 churches who meet regularly for prayer and encouragement). It was born out of a God-given desire to come alongside our community with more than just words. Suburban poverty is here in Oakland County and food insecurity has become its fastest-growing problem. Everyday, poverty-stricken families are forced to choose between basic necessities. HUNGER cannot wait. HOMELESSNESS cannot wait. UNEMPLOYMENT cannot wait.
