The VAD Foundation is a very small and friendly non-profit organization, with the majority of our staff running programs in South Sudan. You would be part of a special volunteer team that keeps our US operations running.

We are currently seeking a talented graphic design volunteer who is passionate about solving complex problems and creating simple, smart, and beautiful designs. Throughout the year The VAD Foundation requires beautifully designed materials for institutional branding and programming for campaigns, exhibitions, education programs, events, and much more!

Requirements:

• Comfortable with design software and web design content management system platforms.
• Knowledge of creating posters, templates, flyers, banners, and other collaterals.
• Knowledgeable in Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to rapidly visualize/prototype concepts.
• Creativity and ability to design to fit for a institutional brand and program.
• Understand audience and design thinking behind print/online materials and usage.

Established by Valentino Achak Deng and Dave Eggers, the VAD Foundation aims to empower South Sudanese communities by increasing access to quality secondary education, improving girls’ education, creating new teacher-training programs, and promoting literacy for children, women, and men. The VAD Foundation is creating the future leaders of a peaceful and thriving South Sudan.
