Enjoy being outdoors while measuring the quality of local rivers and streams this summer! Volunteer to collect samples from the Huron River and/or Downriver waterways. Get outside, meet new people, learn about and help protect our home waters, and collect vital information for Michigan’s premier volunteer water chemistry and flow monitoring program. No prior experience necessary. New participants must attend an orientation session on June 23, 2018 from 1 to 3 PM at the NEW Center (1100 N. Main St., Ann Arbor). To register for the orientation, visit https://www.hrwc.org/volunteer/chemflow/. Contact Andrea at apaine@hrwc.org with any questions.
