At Compassus Palliative and Hospice Care, our goal is to create a volunteer opportunity that utilizes your skills, talents, and interests while supporting our patients. It is a win for all! As a hospice volunteer, you are part of a professional team that supports people with life-limiting illness and diagnosed with six months or less to live.
How that looks will depend on your skills/interests/professional licenses and patient needs.
We are looking for:
Companion Volunteers to make patient visits;
Individuals trained in Healing Touch, Reiki or Massage; Volunteers to visit with their pets;
Respite support for caregivers;

Compassus is a community-based hospice - traveling to skilled nursing facilities and private homes across METRO DENVER.
Assignments are close to home or work. Hours are flexible, based on your availability. Average is 2-3 hours per week, including travel time.
Core training is provided for new volunteers to ensure appropriate skills and to support volunteer confidence.
