We are looking for dedicated and passionate people that care about the children in our community that are grieving the death of a loved one. We need people that are willing and able to commit to at least one year and approximately 8 hours per month in the evenings. These dedicated individuals need to have experienced grief in their life due to the death of someone they love, having been in or around the foster care system or know what it's like to have a loved one with an advanced serious illness, as they will be assisting us with our peer groups. We also need individuals that have some sort of background in social work, counseling/therapy and/or bereavement. These specific individuals will assist as lead facilitators for each support group.

Description
We offer a place of hope and healing for children, teens and their families who are experiencing grief due to either the death of a loved one, being placed in foster care or having a loved one with an advanced serious illness. We are dedicated to providing peer support groups in a safe, loving and understanding environment, with the tools they need to be able to communicate effectively.
