ABC Hopes Inc. is looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to assist our Hopers during our ABC Hopes (dis)ABILITIES Fitness classes on Mondays & Thursdays 6:30pm. We conduct personalized group training sessions for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Many times we look to have a volunteer or family member team up with our participants. All we ask of our volunteers is to be punctual, courteous, compassionate and lend a helping hand with any of our members - our coaches are qualified fitness instructors and will guide you on how to assist one of our members. You do not need to have any previous fitness experience, but we do wish for you to have a compassionate heart for those we serve.

Description
ABC Hopes is a non profit for young adults with intellectual disabilities. We strive to empower our participants to contribute to society in a positive manner. Through our programs with working in two farmers markets, volunteering to serve and assist other people and organizations in the community, and our tailored fitness programs we are building confidence within our members, as well as boosting the awareness and understanding of those we come in contact with in the community.
