Cans for Cancer: Concert Series
Calling all volunteers who love music! Cans for Cancer is hitting the music scene this summer in a big way and WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Laurence Segal, the Carol M. Baldwin Foundation, and the Upstate Cancer Center have been working on something VERY BIG for Cans for Cancer and we are happy to finally share the details with all of you!
We will be collecting returnables from every show at the Lakeview Amphitheater (26 total). That's a lot of Cans for Cancer!
There are a few important details you should know:
- Volunteers must be 16 or older
- Volunteers receive entry into the show of your choice
- Volunteers have access to free premium parking
- Volunteers will assist with inside clean up of the venue including collection of all refundable cans.
- During the show volunteers will roam and help monitor collection
- Collection starts at the end of the show. (Times listed are approximate)
- Collection ends after the venue is cleaned - NOTE: depending on the end of the show collection can last into the next morning - approx time commitment is 1.5 to 2 hours
