Make a Difference--Share your home with an international exchange student!
ORGANIZATION: CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange
Please visit the new page to apply.
CIEE USA High School students stay with their host families for one semester while attending local Denver area High Schools. The cultural exchange between your family and the student will help you both gain a deeper understanding of human values that unite all nations across the world. By having these students live with American families, we break down the barriers that divide people, not only across international borders, but also within our own community. CIEE students have their own funds for school lunches, clothing and personal needs as well as medical insurance. Host families get a stipend to offset the cost of hosting. Find out more about our program at www.ciee.org/partners/hosts/host-families or start an application at beacon.ciee.org/signupsignin.
Currently we have two students who are looking for a caring, supportive host family to live with.
Mariana is a sixteen year old girl from Brazil who loves meeting people and would like to join a dance team or try out for cheerleading.
Marcelo is a sixteen year old boy from Brazil who considers himself a soccer fanatic and loves table tennis and skateboarding. HE cant wait to get to Denver and meet his family and start making friends.
We offer a referral fee for finding host families. Please contact Kthomson@ciee.org with any questions.
