We are looking for a volunteer that enjoys being around children and crafts. We need someone who is energetic and has good people skills. Volunteer will assist staff in setting up crafts, cleaning up after families and will assist in story time. This program is only available on Thursdays but volunteer could have the opportunity to volunteer extra hours in the library. Please come in to the Home Gardens Library to fill out an application. The volunteer coordinator will interview you to see if your will be a good fit.

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
