During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Kindred Hospice is in search for compassionate volunteers who love knitting and have an understanding for dementia. Our knitting volunteers are responsible for knitting handmuffs. Handmuffs have various beads and baubles on them for patients to 'fidget' with, creating mental stimulation for patients with dementia. This is a great way to use up some of your extra yarn and also help patients!
Kindred Hospice provides service for patients and families through Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties. Just a few hours a month of your time and a caring heart can make a difference to those in need. Please contact our Manager of Volunteer Services Kathy O'Connor either by phone (215-322-5746) or email (Kathleen.Oconnor@kindredhospicecare.com) for further information.
