The Panera Day-End Dough-Nation Program at Wesley Housing's Wexford Manor Community Resource Center in Falls Church, VA benefits low- to moderate-income families facing economic and accessibility barriers to food.
Help pick up bread donations from nearby Panera Bread-Merrifield, VA. A great opportunity for "night owls" with standing availability Saturday evenings, interested in serving others through hunger relief.
Commitment: Ongoing, Saturdays, bi-weekly (every two weeks) 9:55pm for 1 hour shift. 1-2 volunteers per shift starting August 11th.
On-call/substitute volunteers to fill in volunteer shifts also needed. Minimum 6 months.
Must be at least 18 years-old and have use of personal vehicle with capacity to transport up to 5 bins of baked goods (18 gallon bins each).
Requirements: Volunteer application and background check.
