ORGANIZATION: JVS, Jewish Vocational Service

Program/Department Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician Training program at JVS helps students prepare to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification exam. This is a 12 week, full-time program designed to prepare students for full-time employment in pharmacies after program completion. JVS’ strong employer relationships help ensure students’ successful job placement after graduation.

Responsibilities:

Tutor students in pharmacy math material covered in class; help students complete math homework and assist with test preparation.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in pharmacy math and English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
