Assist the staff of CCANO’s Homeless Services programs on site visits. Visit clients in their homes along with staff Case Managers, help with note taking, entertaining young siblings, and calming/reassuring clients. Other in-office tasks as assigned. Great opportunity for students interested in social work (as volunteer position or internship), or those interested in working with homeless populations. Position available as a supervised MSW internship by a liscensed LCSW for graduate students working on their MSW.
Location will be various sites throughout New Orleans, with offices moving to the West Bank summer 2018. Time commitment is flexible, but should be on a regular schedule between the hours of 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday.

Since 1938 Catholic Charities has been offering life-giving programs, advocating for the voiceless and empowering the most vulnerable to foster a more just society. Catholic Charities has over 22 programs and twoaffiliated ministries in the eight civil parishes of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Our programs engage and serve members of the community from pre-birth to the elderly but all of them fall under one of the following areas:

- immigration/refugee resettlement
- justice and employment
- physical and mental health
