Job Overview

SOLS 24/7 Malaysia has so many diverse projects, each with it’s own niches and nuances. In project management, you will be responsible for programme monitoring, where you will collect data, apply analysis frameworks and report to management. Other responsibilities include the evaluation and implementation of new methodologies for programmes, collaboration with programme staff and management, and writing project reports for external stakeholders.

What do I need?
  • Minimum 6 to 12 months of professional experience in the related field;
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months to gain full exposure;
  • Bachelor’s degree (any field) with some courses in quantitative methods;
  • Full proficiency in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel). Knowledge of statistical software;
  • (STATA/SPSS/R) and basic database use (MS Access/SQL) preferred but not required;
  • Excellent research skills and an ability to teach oneself new skills;
  • An ability to work autonomously, using initiative to self-direct research and analysis;
  • Excellent command of English (European Common Framework B2 or higher);


What will I do?

Program Monitoring
  • Collect and parse program data;
  • Apply existing analysis frameworks to programs;
  • Monitor and refine program key performance indicators;
  • Collaborate with program staff to refine and develop frameworks;
  • Report to management and program staff to improve programs;
  • Conduct site and field visits where required (anywhere in Malaysia) to further the above.
Client Reporting
  • Undertake regular reporting activities and informal updates;
  • Write project reports for external stakeholders.
Program Evaluation
  • Research and decide on evaluation methodologies for programs;
  • Assist to conduct evaluations of programs periodically or upon program closure;
  • Collaborate with program staff and management to implement any changes necessary.
Training and Development
  • Assist other departments and programs with data collection and analysis;
  • Deliver reporting training to program staff;
  • Advise departments on analytical technologies and techniques.
