Between Friends Board of Directors is actively seeking passionate, diverse, and skilled board members to help guide the organization as it grows. The Between Friends Board of Directors is composed of leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit sector who are dedicated to making a difference in building healthy relationships by preventing domestic violence and assisting adults, children, teens and communities in the Chicago and northern suburbs impacted by abusive relationships.

Between Friends Needs YOU if . . .

• You are passionate about making a difference in healthy relationships and the prevention of domestic violence;
• You are excited about being part of a hard-working and respectful team with proven results;
• You have the time and energy to spend 5 -8 hours a month doing board work: attending board meetings, participating in committee work, and being an ambassador for Between Friends in your community;
• You are motivated to become an effective fundraiser and prepared to learn new skills to succeed in this board role.

And, if:

• You have been a leader on a non-profit board before and you are ready to bring your experience and insight to another organization;
• You are an experienced fundraiser, and enthusiastic about sharing your skills;
• You have strong marketing skills and understand branding, social media engagement and public relations;
• You have expertise in finance and/or accounting and facilities management, we especially would like to talk with you!
