We are looking for churches, businesses, corporations, or anyone who is interested in hosting a Back to School backpack and/or school supply drive for Community's Child.
Each year we prepare between 250-300 disadvantaged South Bay children with the necessary school supplies to return to school.
All donations collected must be delivered by July 26, 2023.
SUPPLIES WE STILL NEED:
BACKPACKS, CRAYONS, COMPOSITION BOOKS, COLOR PENCILS, WIDE RULED FILLER PAPER, COLLEGE RULED FILLER PAPER, 1.5 INCH 3-RING BINDERS, PENCIL CASES/POUCHES, GLUE STICKS, ERASERS, PENS, 1-SUBJECT COLLEGE RULED SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS.

Description
Community's Child is a nondenominational Christian program committed to providing homeless women with infants healthy alternatives to abuse, poverty, addictions, and hopelessness. The program offers homeless women and their infants a safe, compassionate, yet structured living environments. At Community's Child, women acquire the education, skills training, employment opportunities and support services, necessary to break the patterns associated with homelessness.
