Avalon Hospice is currently serving a couple of patients who are no longer able to tend to their yards due and need volunteers to assist with lawn care including mowing and weed-eating throughout the summer months. This is an excellent opportunity for small groups looking for a way to serve the less fortunate and disabled in their community.
