Are you a morning person? Guess what: most of our elderly patients at Sloan's Lake Rehabilitation Center are, too! We are looking for volunteers to come to our center around 9am, any day of the week, and do some morning 1:1 visits with some of our loneliest patients, as well as offering all patients activities from the activities cart, and passing out our "Daily Chronicle" with news from that date in history. Generally, these volunteers would just be little rays of sunshine to say hello to our patients and offer them something to do for the rest of their day. All application/orientation/background check can be done ONLINE, and you can be volunteering in about a week! Scheduling is 100% flexible-- some volunteers come once a month, and some come multiple times a week. We are happy to work with your schedule! Description
We are a new, 45-bed rehabilitation center on the shores of Sloan's Lake in Denver. We look forward to bringing in volunteers to help our residents have a more pleasant stay while they're with us.
