Bring HOPE to a low-income senior or disabled adult in our community today! Volunteer Services has many opportunities to serve in Chelan and Douglas counties. We provide in home chore, yard and transportation services to vulnerable adults with the goal of helping them remain safely, comfortably and with dignity in their own homes. Even just one hour per month, generously given, can make the difference for independence in the life of an elderly/ disabled and often isolated person. We can work around your schedule and provide ongoing support, training, optional mileage reimbursement and liability insurance to help make the volunteer experience rewarding for all.

Description
Volunteer Services, a program of CatholicCharities, provides basic in-home assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities to help them continue living independently, safely, and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. The generosity of our volunteers brings opportunities and hope to individuals who are often isolated and in need of kindness and support. We offer both individual and group opportunities to provide transportation, light housekeeping, yard care and more. All volunteers receive training, optional mileage reimbursement, liability and ongoing support to make sure the volunteer experience is rewarding for all. Catholic Charities is a state contracted 501-C3 and provides services to all who qualify regardless of race, religion or creed.
