The Gleaners CARE mobile pantry program was started in 2015 in conjunction with IMPD to provide much needed food, engagement and education and address the hunger issue is six target areas across Indianapolis. Last year alone, our CARE mobiles distributed more than 320,000 pounds of fresh produce and other crucial food items to 16,000 households in the three months the program runs.
Volunteers are needed to help distribute food at the six locations. This event does take place outdoors and is subject to cancellations based on inclement weather.
This event is family friendly, the age limit is 9+
