Event Invitation

We are looking for some individuals to help us set up and interact with our donors at our upcoming Golf Invitational Fundraiser. The event takes place outside at the shockingly beautiful North Oaks golf club which has been newly-renovated. Benefiting the Newborn Foundation’s life-saving work in Minnesota and around the world, volunteers will asked to help with registration, silent auction set up and management, games and for sale items. The two shift options are: 9am-1pm (6 volunteers needed) 2pm-7pm (5 volunteers needed)

However we are in much greater need for people in the morning at this time.

Mission Statement

The Newborn Foundation is the only organization of its kind dedicated to leveraging technology innovation to save newborn lives and improve health outcomes for the newest, most vulnerable citizens.

Description

Our vision is that every newborn baby will have an equal opportunity to survive and thrive. In seven years, our small but ambitious non-profit has enabled 20 million newborns to be screened for the most common life-threatening conditions newborns face in their first few days of life including Critical Congenial Heart Defects, pneumonia and sepsis. After one little girl was born in Minnesota with a critical congenial heart defect in 2010, we have promoted newborn screenings for little babies like her throughout the U.S. with our advocacy in domestic policy. We work around the world bringing medical devices, training materials and implementing our life-saving programs. In 2018, we will be reaching 500,000 newborns on our new project sites in India, Mongolia, Mexico, Peru & Bolivia.
