Our non-profit support group, Bennett Place Support Fund, Inc. is hosting this event again this year on Saturday September 21st to help raise funds needed to make repairs and renovations to the visitor center at the historic site. This event was a great success last year and they will be hosting again. We are in need of volunteers to help with set up, food prep, cleaning, parking detail and admissions.

This event will be on-site at Bennett Place State Historic Site and we will be offering both eat-in as well as take-out. In addition to the food and music, we will be offering games, a silent auction and door prizes.

As a volunteer you will be given a ticket for a plate of BBQ as our way of saying thank you. If you've ever thought about volunteering at a historic site, this is a great opportunity.

If you have questions or concerns about volunteering or need more information about the event, please don't hesitate to contact the site manager, Diane Smith, for more information.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
