Are you a Middle School or High School student looking to earn service hours for Bright Futures or other organization requirements? Join OASIS (Outreach Assisting Students In Schools) in accomplishing our mission of providing clothing and basic necessities to Hillsborough County students in immediate need. Volunteers will be organizing clothing on shelves, restocking inventory, and sorting community donations along with a number of other activities in our warehouse. OASIS would like to invite you to volunteer at our South Tampa location.
All volunteers are welcome to respond and be put on an email distribution list. Volunteers on this list will be notified when we have early afternoon and evening volunteer hours at our site usually between 4:00-5:30pm or 4:30-6:30pm. Slots are limited so contact us soon!

We will have 6-10 slots open during each of the sessions for any volunteers who want to join. You can sign up for multiple sessions. The slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

To provide clothing and fundamental necessities to low-income students in Hillsborough County Public Schools to ensure their personal and academic success.
Description
- OASIS provides essentials to at-risk and low-income students in need through their school social workers
- Items provided include: gently used clothing, new uniforms, socks & underwear, shoes, hygiene items, alarm clocks, emergency food assistance, and school supplies
- 3 full-size clothing sites serving homeless and low-income students
The acronym OASIS stands for Outreach Assisting Students In Schools. This non-profit organization was specifically developed as a unique and effective way of directly distributing donations of children's personal items to public school kids in need of assistance. Direct communication and cooperation with school based social workers and other school representatives make this effort possible.
The OASIS Opportunities brings these entities together to form a unique partnership, one that allow students to overcome barriers to consistent school attendance and academic success. We believe that all students deserve equal access to the tool they need to fully engage in their education and realize their potential to become exceptional members of our community.
