This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about youth as well as the community and has a track record of board leadership. The selected Board President will have achieved leadership stature in business, government, philanthropy, and/or the nonprofit sector. Their accomplishments will allow them to attract other well-qualified, high-performing members to support our mission as a volunteer, board member or committee member. The Board President will support the work of Dream Weaver Foundation and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance.

Required Qualifications:

• Working partnerships and connections within the Grand Prairie community
• Resident of Grand Prairie (or previously resided)
• Sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals and securing funds
• Extensive professional experience with executive leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector
• Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of Dream Weaver Foundation’s beneficiaries
