If you are in need of a practicum site or in need of a site to gain your hours towards licensure our ever growing business is in need of Trainees and Associates to serve our increasing client list. The volunteer would complete the intake process ad psychological assessment for new clients. Volunteers would also be responsible for creating treatment plans, diagnosing the clients as well as writing progress notes. We have two clinical supervisors which allow for flexibility for required supervision hours.

Description
Mental health/behavioral health can be costly. AMCS is a non-profit organization that provides low-cost mental health care to the community. We have programs to help at-risk youth in the form of or Believe for Change recidivism program. We go into schools, group homes, transitional homes and continuation schools to speak to youth about life skills, changing the direction in their life and making better choices. We also have a support group for mothers who have children in prison, group homes, juvenile detention centers, etc. called Mothers of Incarcerated Children. We are passionate about helping people and need help running the front office, answering the phones and scheduling appointments, keeping up with our calendar for health fairs, community meetings, etc..
