The Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI) is seeking volunteers to help with our annual fundraising auction dinner. All volunteers will receive a fantastic meal, special bottle of wine, and the satisfaction of knowing they are helping support valuable research at PNRI.
An Evening of Wine has three signature features: the Winemaker’s Reception, Name That Wine Game, and the Dinner & Live Auction.
The Winemaker's Reception
Raffle Sales: Volunteers will work the reception in groups of twos encouraging guests to purchase tickets.
Requires: Standing for long periods of time, walking, recording numbers, and enthusiastic salesperson attitude.
Greeter: Greet guests as they arrive at the event, direct them to any activities happening during the night.
Wine Glass Distributor: Assist staff with handing out wine glasses. More than 3,500 wine glasses are used for this event, so we could use your help!
Pourers (Class 12 permit required): Pour some of the best PNW wines during the reception.
Auction Display Associate: Assist with setting up the live auction; assembling auction displays and monitoring live auction table.
