Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center (CSERC) is in need of volunteers that can do physical labor in restoration projects that they have. They include tree planting, blocking unauthorized dirt bike trails, building and maintaining barbed wire fences to exclude cattle from meadows. These are usually 1 day projects, beginning at 8:am and finishing by 2:30. Some of the dates set at this time, are June 7th, June 30th, July 14th, August 8th, August 11th, Sept. 15th and October 4th. If interested in pursuing volunteering to assist them, please call Sara Husby Program Director at 209/586-7440 or e-mail her at sarahusby@cserc.org. If none of these dates are good, but you would be interested in being on an e-mail list, just call or e-mail Sara.
