Just One More Ministry (JOMM) began in 2008 as a small and informal food recovery program founded by Chris Capper working with Meal Outreach Ministry at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa. Now located at 6442 Rivers Parkway in Wauwatosa/Milwaukee; our food rescue program has grown from a humble beginning of rescuing one box of bread and donating it to a central city church, into its current form rescuing and repackaging prepared food, fresh produce, and bakery from numerous Milwaukee suppliers and redistributing it to 65 Greater Milwaukee inner city churches supporting pantries and community meal ministry programs.
Our nonprofit Food Rescue Mission, Just One More Ministry operates on a small budget of only 5 employees along with the efforts of volunteers like yourself. We're hoping to find someone who's interested in occasional work inside our building doing small tasks regularly. This would include but not be limited to basic housekeeping cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, emptying trash or windows etc.
We really want someone who takes pride in a job well done, you'd be helping create a clean environment for our ministry. As part of our crew you'd be an integral part of a wonderful organization that's helping rescue over 1 million pounds of food in 2018 to fight hunger and feed our community.

Just One More is a 510(c)3 faith based organization dedicated to functioning as the hands and feet of Christ on earth by inviting the ignored, the forgotten, the addicted, the hungry, the formerly incarcerated and lonely to come, be served and to serve alongside each other as God's children providing regular nutritious meals to those struggling with hunger and/or addiction while offering a Christ centered recovery program providing guidance & encouragement.

Just One More Ministry (JOMM) began in 2008 as a small and informal food recovery program founded by Chris Capper working with Meal Outreach Ministry at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa. The food rescue program grew from a humble beginning of rescuing one box of bread and donating it to a central city church, into its current form rescuing and repackaging prepared food, fresh produce, and bakery from numerous Milwaukee suppliers and redistributing it to 65 Greater Milwaukee inner city organizations supporting pantries and community meal ministry programs. In 2018, JOMM provided partner organizations with over 500,000 meals, 1,125,000 pounds of food that would otherwise be discarded.
