CASA volunteers are ordinary people - men and women, retirees and busy professionals - who have the opportunity to directly influence a foster child's life across many significant and far-reaching concerns such as medical care, academics, and enrichment activities. We are looking for individuals with a desire to help children in need of one-on-one attention.
The first step to becoming a volunteer is to attend an information session. Please join us for a half-hour to learn how you can make a difference in a foster child's life.

Mission Statement
Hudson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is committed to advocating for the best interests of abused and neglected foster children. CASA works through trained community volunteers to ensure that needed services and assistance are made available to children while helping to move them toward safe and permanent homes.

CASA volunteers are paired with one child, getting to know that child and his or her circumstances through monthly visits. Information is gathered from teachers, doctors, and social workers. With this information, volunteers make recommendations in the best interest of the child to a court judge.
