Summer Single Day Volunteer Opportunities
We need your help!

As we gear up for the start of camp this summer, we are in need of a few extra hands.
Please come out and help out :)

There are two ways to help:

  1. Come to the office to help us load up the pack-rat, assemble folders and supplies, and get everything prepped for upcoming camp sessions!
    • Great Day of Service Session 1 Wednesday, May 23rd
      Camp Kudzu Office
      9AM - 5PM
    • Great Day of Service Session 2&3Wednesday, May 30th
      Camp Kudzu Office
      9AM - 5PM
    • Great Day of Service Session 4Wednesday, July 25th
      Camp Kudzu Office
      9AM - 5PM

  2. Come to the opening day of one or more camp sessions to welcome our campers and families, and help get them checked in!
    • Session 1 Opening Day
      Tuesday, May 29th
      Camp High Harbour at Lake Allatonna
    • Session 2 Opening Day
      Sunday, June 3rd
      Camp Twin Lakes, Rutledge
    • Session 3 Opening Day
      Sunday, June 10th
      Camp Twin Lakes, Rutledge
    • Session 4 Opening Day
      Sunday, July 29th
      White County Middle School & Camp Barney Medintz
*Times of Opening Day will vary by session.

Mission Statement

Camp Kudzu provides camp and educational programs in a fun environment for Georgia's youth with diabetes and their families, which promote self-esteem, leadership, and a chance to excel in life.

Description

Camp Kudzu is a camp for children and adolescents with diabetes in Georgia. It will provide camp and recreational experiences that promote self-confidence, personal growth, and development, so that the camper can lead a normal life, taking charge of diabetes as merely one of life's challenges. Camp will be a fun and safe environment where bonds of friendship form and positive role models nurture campers' development .
