A couple of hours just twice a month will be a big help to a very friendly 80-year-old West Seattle resident. All she needs is assistance with some light housework and grocery shopping. In return, you’ll get a feeling of satisfaction and connect with a neighbor.
Volunteer Services assists low-income older adults and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Time and location are very flexible; you can volunteer in your own neighborhood at on days that work for you, at times and frequency that fit your schedule. You are provided with an orientation and ongoing staff support
