A friendly senior living in Tukwila needs a few hours a month to help keep up with his dishes and his kitchen. He is interesting and talkative----ready to have a great conversation with a volunteer! He will be very grateful for any assistance that you can offer!
Volunteer Services assists low-income older adults and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Time and location are very flexible; you can volunteer in your own neighborhood at on days that work for you, at times and frequency that fit your schedule. You are provided with an orientation and ongoing staff support

Description
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adults and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
