Federal Way: Lawns are Getting High! Help an Elderly Neighbor
Grass is growing fast and high, and you have older neighbors near you who are struggling to keep their yards up! A visit to a neighbor every two or three weeks to mow their lawn will make their spring and summer much more enjoyable!
Have a group? We have yards that need a little more TLC that can use your energy!
Volunteer Services assists low-income older adults and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care. With a little help from volunteers, clients can continue to live independently in their homes.
Time and location are very flexible; you can volunteer in your own neighborhood at on days that work for you, at times and frequency that fit your schedule. You are provided with an orientation and ongoing staff support

Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adutls and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
