Become a Wish Granter in Lancaster/Palmdale!

Do you want to help spread hope, strength, and joy to children and families in Los Angeles?

Help grant wishes to our children with critical medical conditions in your community! We are currently looking for committed volunteers who can serve as Wish Granters in all areas of Los Angeles, especially in the Lancaster, Palmdale and Santa Clarita areas!

Wish Granters are trained volunteers who help our wish team with the wish process. Wish Granters meet with wish children to find out what their special wish is. They stay in touch with their assigned family during the wish process. Once the wish is coordinated, volunteers help surprise the child and reveal what their special wish will be. To become a Wish Granter, you will be trained on how to meet with families, interact with our wish children, and complete the necessary paperwork to proceed with the child's wish.

The first step to become a Make-A-Wish volunteer is to attend a New Volunteer Orientation. This is a one-hour information session where you will learn about Make-A-Wish and our volunteer program. After attending an orientation, you will have the opportunity to complete a Volunteer Application and attend a Wish Granter Training.
