Our office is in Newton, but our patients reside in the greater Boston area. For information, please contact Mindy Sieber, at Check our website to print out a volunteer application.

Due to Covid-19 precautions we have not been visiting patients in person. We expect to resume in-person visits in the coming months. Our next training will start at the end of April 2022. Please contact us if you are interested.

Mission Statement

Good Shepherd Community Care is dedicated to the delivery of the highest quality of care, support and education for those experiencing or anticipating serious illness and loss. As one of the first hospices in the country, and the first in Massachusetts, we have been here - offering coordinated, professional community care since 1978. Good Shepherd is proud to offer a range of programs including Hospice, Pediatric Palliative Care and Community Palliative Care. Within our hospice program, we have specially trained professionals and volunteers in several multicultural programs: Caminos de Paz Latino Hospice Program, Krug Zaboty Russian Hospice Program, and 牧 愛 社 區 服 務, Chinese Hospice Program.
