Caregiver Coaches provide emotional support and practical assistance that family caregivers need to meet the necessities of daily life while their loved one is hospitalized or in treatment.
-Greet and welcome caregivers at the Montefiore Medical Center Support Centers. Listen and provide emotional support.
-Provide information and assistance regarding resources, care, and available services. Assist caregiver in navigating hospital, services provided and location.
-Responsible for maintaining a warm and friendly environment in the Caregiver Support Center.
-Make caregiver rounds in surgical waiting rooms, critical care and medical floors. Escort caregiver to the Caregiver Support Center.

People of all ages and walks of life are among the hundreds of volunteers that we welcome each year. Montefiore's state-of-the-art facilities create a dynamic learning environment for those who want to gain experience or share their time and knowledge with others.
Volunteers at Montefiore work in both patient and non-patient settings in more than 200 departments. Our volunteers are appreciated and highly valued. Every effort is made to match each individual with an appropriate and satisfying assignment.
