MDA

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is looking for volunteers for the MDA Muscle Walk on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 at Riverside Park in Sioux City, IA. The Muscle Walk is a non-competitive walk. MDA holds them all around the country and it’s like a big MDA family reunion. Captains create teams and gather their friends and family to be walkers on their team. Then everyone asks for donations to support MDA. At the MW there will be music, face painters, vendors, and a lot of other fun stuff celebrating our MDA families, community teams, and the support they received leading up to the walk. We finish the event with a celebration lap around the park.

Volunteer’s will be needed from 9:00am to approximately 1:00pm for duties such as help with team check-in, taking walk waivers, handling MDA t-shirts, manning our walk route water stations, and other duties as assigned.

It is great opportunity to volunteer with family, friends, and coworkers! We will try to keep you with your group!
