We are looking for a retired educator to help us develop and expand our educational activities.

Delhi Historical Society is creating multiple programs to educate grade school students about American history, particularly in Western Hamilton County, Ohio. Programs will be in-class as well as field trips.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Delhi Historical Society is to discover, preserve, and share the history of Delhi Township (Ohio) and its surrounding areas.

Description

The Delhi Historical Society museum, research center, and headquarters are a 19th-century farmhouse. The museum has exhibits on American life focusing on Hamilton County's Delhi Township and its neighboring communities. Delhi's heritage as the "Floral Paradise of Ohio," and its floriculture industry is explained. Its research center contains photographs, documents, books, and artifacts that bring local history to life, with a special focus on area genealogy. We are open March-November Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 12:30-3, and by appointment.
