We are in need of 10 volunteers to help us with an exciting marketing project! Come spend some time with us, wrapping our world famous cookie boxes with a special message to incoming college students. Your time invested will allow us to spread our mission to incoming students and providing them with an awesome treat!
Make your own schedule for this project! Email the address below and let us know when YOU are available--Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm. This project will take about 8-10 hours to complete. So, feel free to give as much time as fits your life! Come all day, a few hours, or several days. It's up to you!
You will walk away learning how a non profit uses unique marketing techniques and tie in with our mission of building girls of confidence, character and courage who make the world a better place. Work with our product sales director to learn how our cookie sale program impacts the thousands of Girl Scout members in Badgerland Council and teaches them entrepreneurial skills. You can spend your time knowing you are making a meaningful difference for our organization and members while learning/practicing/developing nonprofit knowledge and marketing skills.

Mission Statement
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Description
Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
