We are searching for Administrative Clerical Volunteers who will promote hospice care by performing standard clerical assignments in an office setting. The volunteer will perform clerical duties to maintain an organized office space and allow medical staff to focus on patient care. We are looking for a volunteer who demonstrates autonomy, organization, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Helping with mail-outs, filing, and data entry
- Answering phones and making phone calls
- Maintain various databases with detail and accuracy
- Prepare packets, binders, and other materials as directed by supervisors.
- Assist with veteran certificate creation and documentation
- Assist with medical records file keeping and auditing
- Input data from paper sources into digital format (usually Excel or Brightree)
- Abides by and demonstrates the company Mission-Vision-Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis
- Adheres to and participates in company mandatory HIPPA privacy program/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Hospice is living with quality end of life care. Our organization is for patients with many types of illnesses. While about half of our patients have some sort of cancer, a large segment of our patients have cardiac and respiratory disease, renal disease, neurological illnesses such as Alzheimer's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease, AIDS, cirrhosis and other terminal diseases.
