Can you dedicate a few hours each month to work remotely to help our non-profit? Old Friends Club is looking to maximize opportunity and outreach with our website. We need someone comfortable and proficient with Google AdWords and SEO to optimize our site and help us track. If you can translate technical terms into layman speak, that would be helpful.
Old Friends Club has three locations on Seattle's Eastside and is growing. A compassionate and progressive attitude toward aging and mental health is helpful. Old Friends Club cultivates joy in the lives of adults with cognitive impairment and nourishes the well-being of family caregivers.
Description
Old Friends Club invites people with dementia or other cognitive impairments to participate in guided conversation, games, art, music, exercise and other activities. We meet in a small group that empowers each member to build friendships and care for one another. The activity and interaction help people remain living in their own home longer and address social and cognitive needs that other care options often don’t. Club members move from isolation to engagement. Their family caregivers gain respite and ongoing support, education and access to caregiving resources.
