Is it easy for you to create a poster or redesign a web page? Can you take existing elements and arrange them for eye-catching marketing materials? If you can dedicate 4 to 8 hours each month to work remotely with a writer and marketing coordinator to create materials for outreach, then we'd love to hear from you.
Old Friends Club has three locations on Seattle's Eastside and is growing. A compassionate and progressive attitude toward aging and mental health is required. Old Friends Club cultivates joy in the lives of adults with cognitive impairment and nourishes the well-being of family caregivers.
Description
Old Friends Club invites people with dementia or other cognitive impairments to participate in guided conversation, games, art, music, exercise and other activities. We meet in a small group that empowers each member to build friendships and care for one another. The activity and interaction help people remain living in their own home longer and address social and cognitive needs that other care options often don’t. Club members move from isolation to engagement. Their family caregivers gain respite and ongoing support, education and access to caregiving resources.
