The Louisville Street Faire is going for Zero Waste! This free event has excellent food, cold drinks, lots of children’s activities, quality arts, crafts, sundries, and great american live music from 5 to 9:30pm, on most Friday evenings during the summer.
We will be working hard to divert most of the event's waste from the landfill and we need volunteers like YOU to help out!
Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie", making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event!
There are two shifts available of two and a quarter hours each: 5pm-7:15pm, 7:15pm-9pm. Volunteering a whole evening (2 shifts) will get you a break in-between your shifts to grab a free slice of pizza and a free drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
