With donations streaming in and clients constantly moving in and out of our facilities, we have an immense need for volunteers with strong backs and even stronger work ethics to help us move furniture and appliances. By joining the Moving Team, volunteers directly improve our clients’ quality of life while freeing up our staff to house more people! On an as-needed basis, staff will send out a request for moving volunteers. Volunteers available to help can simply reply to the Volunteer Coordinator and schedule a moving time of their choosing!

Youth Shelters and Family Services delivers life-changing services to homeless, runaway, and in-crisis youth in northern New Mexico by providing shelter and addressing health, safety, education, and workforce opportunities so they may lead independent and meaningful lives. Youth Shelters and Family Services serves more than 1,000 homeless, runaway, and in-crisis youth and family members each year. Most are local--75% from Santa Fe and Santa Fe County alone--and another 10% from other communities in Northern New Mexico. Youth from elsewhere in the state and around the country also access services.!
