ABOUT:
"J" will turn 13 this summer and likes dancing, going to the movies and other teen activities. She can be extroverted or introverted, depending on the person she is with and how comfortable she feels with that person.
REQUIREMENTS & COMMITMENT of MENTOR:
Current PA Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances, driver's license, auto insurance, 21 years of age, minimum of 4-6 months as a consistent presence in Mentee's life with at least monthly contacts, application, interview and training.
GOALS & EXPECTATIONS OF MENTOR:
Engage in positive activities outside of the home (especially outdoor activities). Be a positive role model for "J".
EXPECTATIONS OF MENTEE:
Maintain a positive attitude and be honest with the Mentor.
SKILLS:
People skills, relationship building, youth services, life coaching.
