We are recruiting for the role of Full Time Volunteer in our Housing Services.

Role Purpose: To ensure the provision of accommodation services in a positive and stimulating physical environment and consistently to best practice standards whilst meeting the needs of residents on a day to day basis. To assure individual care plans are developed in order to build skills, increase independence and enhance a person’s quality of life. To support those who can not live independently and who have medium to high needs.

Volunteers contribute to the running of our services through carrying out a diverse range of roles and utilising their varied skill sets.

WHAT WE PROMISE:

-Weekly allowance.

-Supervision and mentoring.

-DIT accredited certificate in Volunteering.

-Career Development Opportunities.

- Social Events.

Dublin Simon Community is a non government organisation who support people affected by homelessness through providing housing, prevention, addiction treatment, emergency response and other targeted interventions, through advocacy and partnership.
We have a range of services including supported housing, emergency housing, treatment and support services and we require volunteers across all of these.
