The American Lung Association, founded in 1904, is the oldest volunteer health organization in the country with a singular mission: to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
The American Lung Association in Pennsylvania is currently recruiting talented community leaders to serve on our board. The Board of Directors meets quarterly and board members additionally are asked to serve on one committee supporting an event. Board members with experience in the following areas are sought: finance & accounting, community & public relations, law, medical research, fundraising, those affected by lung disease, healthcare professionals (Pulmonologists, RNs, RTs, related field clinicians). Contributions of time, money and event sponsorships to the ALAMA help those who suffer with lung disease through mission driven programs and activities.
