Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease is a 24/7 challenge...one that leaves caregivers often exhausted and in need of a little pampering.
Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles’ East Los Angeles office is hosting its 12th annual Caregiver Wellness Day, Saturday, June 2nd at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. We need 35-45 volunteers to help us celebrate family caregivers by giving them some much needed rest, a bit of relaxation and a little inspiration.
There are multiple shifts available:
Shift A: 6:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Arrival & Orientation - 15 volunteers needed
Shift B1 - 6:30 a.m. - noon (or 1:00 p.m. if you would like to stay for lunch) - 7 volunteers needed
Shift B2 - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - 10-15 volunteers needed
Shift C - 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (includes lunch) - 10 volunteers needed
