Rotation Group Guest Leaders: Help Provide Opportunities to Children with a Parent in Prison

Did you know that a child with a parent in prison is significantly more likely than their peers to be incarcerated themselves later on in life (one study found up to 5 times more likely)? Did you know Oklahoma incarcerates women at a higher rate than anywhere else in the world? New Hope Oklahoma works with youth 5-18 who have/have had an incarcerated parent, with the mission to end generational incarceration. We provide after school programs, holiday parties, case management, summer camps, and overnight retreats, among other services.

Have a skill, talent, game, or passion that you’d like to share? Come as a guest for one day (or multiple days!) of camp to lead groups of campers through an activity. This entails teaching three groups of campers for 45 minute segments, from 2pm-5pm in the afternoon. Past activities have included Tae Kwon Do, salon, woodworking, and story-time/slime making. We are also looking for inspirational speakers. Suitable for individuals or groups.
