You're invited to join us for the fourth and final Scotch broom pull at Powell Creek Complex protected area this month!
In the last few weeks, three amazing volunteer groups have made a serious dent in the Scotch broom on this property. Invasive species removal can be an uphill battle, but thanks to these volunteers' hard work, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Join us next week for one more broom pull in the uplands around Powell Creek.

The Nisqually Land Trust acquires and manages critical lands to permanently benefit the water, wildlife, and people of the Nisqually River Watershed.
Description
The Nisqually Land Trust is a non-profit organization that acquires, maintains, and restores important lands along the Nisqually River to viable habitat for salmon and other wildlife.
It was established in 1989 to protect wildlife habitat threatened by the consequences of rapid population growth. Today it conserves and restores over 5,000 acres throughout the Nisqually River watershed.
